• 1 ampere but you can also charge at 2.1 amperes. And the little charge lamp turns blue, indicating a full charge.

• Completely charged and the light turns blue. Battery low shows red, medium shows a purple color while charging.

• Not sure about the charging question, I use the charge cable it came with and a USB plug. There is a small light that is red when you plug it in to charge and it is done when the light turns blue.
