• Yes, we had to hire someone to do this. You can do it yourself, I just didn't want to mess anything up

• HI Mich. We are not clear on your inquiry on if the dryer vent for the LG - TrueSteam 7.4 Cu. Ft. 12-Cycle Electric Dryer with Steam - Graphite Steel, Model # DLEX3570V can be "attached from the rear to a side hookup". The dryer is shipped to vent to the rear, but is can be configured to vent to the bottom or to the sides. You will need to purchase an Adapter Kit, part # 383EEL9001B that contains all the necessary duct components to change the dryer vent location. The dryer has tabs on the sides and in the bottom that you can knockout and remove for your desired vent opening and press the adapter duct onto the blower housing and secure to the base of the dryer...^IFV
