Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't think so since you need something to convert the VHS to a file then right the file(s) to DVD. I have sone this with DVR tapes but first I had to convert them, then edit the video with with Adobe Premiere, then burn it all on DVDs. It was a fairly labor intensive and time consuming process, but I wanted to be able to make copies of home videos to give away to family members so that meant the quality had to be very good.

Please try again later.not with just this burner. it needs a computer to do anything. connection is via usb. you would need a video caputre device. hook vhs into capture card, hook capture card to computer. save vhs output to computer, then use a dvd creator software to make the movie(s) and burn to the dvd as a dvd video suitable for playback on a standard dvd player.
