QuestionDoes it support vertical orientation?

- Answer The included stand does not allow for vertical orientation. If using the included VESA adapter plate, page 22 of the owner's manual states, "Vertical orientation is not recommended.", with no explanation of this limitation. There was an answer to a similar question on this model's listing on LG's website which claims: "The LG 24 inch UltraFine 4K UHD IPS Monitor with macOS Compatibility, Model # 24MD4KL is not designed to be used in portrait mode and does not have the necessary venting to rid the excess heat that is generated by flipping it into portrait mode". How these details arise known is not shared, and I am unable to locate any writing or video to verify this reasoning.

The number of monitors that you're able to daisy-chain depends on your GPU. Many GPUs can handle 3 daisy-chained monitors. You will need to check the specifications for your GPU to ensure that it can handle 3 daisy-chained monitors...^IFV

QuestionWhat is the difference between this model sold by Best Buy and the model sold directly by Apple? Can't find a difference when comparing specs, but they have different model numbers (24md4kl-b vs. 24md4kl-b.ausa) and UPCs (719192631991 vs. 719192625679).

- Answer There is no difference that I am aware of. It isn’t uncommon for different vendors to have the same product with different UPCs and Model Numbers. I own this monitor that I purchased from Best Buy and it is exactly the same specs as the Apple model.

QuestionI have a work station that family will use with Mac and PC. I have this monitor mounted but it not working with the PC's. Working only with the MACs. Is this monitor compatible with PC? I have inputs on my PC for HDMI and Mini Display Port.

- Answer You can connect both your 2020 MacBook Pro 16" and the HP Zbook 15 at the same time on the LG 24 Inch UltraFine 4K UHD IPS Monitor with macOS Compatibility, Model # 24MD4KL-B but you cannot watch them simultaneously. You also need to keep in mind that functions may be limited with Windows PCs. You may be able to get it to work with Windows but only by adding a Thunderbolt 3 expansion card to the computer's motherboard (in the case of a desktop PC), tweaking the BIOS, and/or various other fixes, and even then, some functions wil still be disabled...^IFV

QuestionWhen I plug my iPad Pro into the USBC port on this display nothing happens. If I plug the same cable into the thunderbolt port, it works. What are the USBC ports for on the back? They don't work with my iPad or MacBook.
