“Is it possible to hookup a surround sound system to this monitor? Seems it has no speakers and only a headphone jack no audio connection for a sound system like most TV's would have. Looking into this for sim racing potentially.”

The LG 32GQ950-B monitor does not have built-in speakers, but it does have a 3.5mm Headphone Out port. To connect a surround sound system, you can use the headphone jack to route the audio to an external sound system or a receiver that supports a 3.5mm audio input.
