Greatest monitor ive used... Period.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ive spent a lot of money trying different monitors, whether it be curved, ultrawide, 4K, OLED, 360hz refresh rate, you name it. This monitor is by far the most well rounded ive had the pleasure of using out of the 20+ monitors that i have purchased. 4K, 144hz, HDR, high brightness, FALD, low input lag, HDMI 2.1 for consoles... What else could you want? The only con i could think of is that it weighs quite a bit, so make sure you have a sturdy desk mount!

Posted .Wow, it sounds like you have really done your research when it comes to finding the perfect monitor! It's great to hear that the LG 32" UltraGear™ UHD 4K Nano IPS with ATW 1ms 144Hz HDR 1000 Monitor with G-SYNC® Compatible, model 32GQ950-B, has lived up to your high standards and has been well-rounded in terms of its features. The 4K resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, and high brightness are all impressive, especially in combination with HDR and FALD technology. And it's definitely a plus that it also accommodates HDMI 2.1 for consoles. We appreciate the feedback about its weight, and we'll make sure to keep this in mind for future designs. Overall, it sounds like you've found a great monitor that meets all of your needs, which is always a win! If there's anything we can do to serve you further, let us know. Good purchase!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Get the protection plan, this monitor is doing outstanding, although I personally have had issues with previous LG monitors. This was a step up in resolution from my 38GN950, I have also used the 69G-B and 89G-B extensively. 4k is a very noticeable difference with clean viewing angles. HDR is hit or miss on some media titles, HDR in gaming is perfect, maximum brightness in HDR is preferred. Was planning on getting the 45” UltraGear but OLED burn in and 1440p resolution are unacceptable. Photo editing is exciting and smooth with such accurate colors.

Incredible 4k monitor with minimal IPS glow
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Having used another LG monitor (32GP83B-B.AUS) for years now I was looking into getting a high refresh rate 4k monitor. I compared practically all monitor types (TN/VA/IPS/OLED/QLED/MiniLED) at all price points from various manufacturers (Samsung, ASUS, Corsair, Sony/ etc.) and found this to be the best value in terms of performance. With the reliability that I've had from my other monitor and a price match offer of $1000 for this, I found it to be a great value. Granted, I've price matched it again after purchase so the new total was $750, and I have to say anyone interested in this monitor should buy it immediately because this monitor is really superb and at almost half the price literally cannot be beat in terms of performance. I checked the history of sales for this monitor and this price is the floor that rarely happens so if you have any doubts, I say go for it. The box it comes in is very large as it is a 32" monitor, but it was secured very well and putting it together was straightforward as usual, and with the added benefits of LED lighting in the rear now as well. Some reviews complain about the fan noise but so far, even with it on max settings I haven't heard anything over the sound of my computer so they may have had one-off's. Looking forward to many more years of use with this monitor for gaming/photo editing/etc.!

Used for two days, screen is now dead
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Picked up this monitor on Friday, got it put togetber and started jamming out some games. This monitor packs a punch and outputs an amazing picture quality in 4K. The 4090 barely breaks a sweat hitting close to the 144hz maximum. Unfortunately, after probably 6 hours total of using this monitor, the screen decided it did not want to work anymore. Highly disappointed to say the least. For the premium price you pay for this monitor, it’s unacceptable for this to happen in such a short period of time.

The king of LG UltraGear IPS Panels
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The best LG UltraGear gaming monitor ever! Now that I have that out the way let me tell you why. The on-screen black colors are close to completely BLACK! They have always been grey and discolored but not anymore. I can tell you from a person who owns the LG 38GL950-B, LG 34GP950-B, and now the LG 32GQ950-B. This is by far the best implementation of the three. IPS glow is almost nonexistent. The ATW Polarizer does a great job mitigating the edge lit bleed from the corners. Additionally, the colors pop and the monitor is bright! In my opinion it’s too bright. You have to turn it down to use it for productivity workloads. My screen brightness is on 30 % as I write this review. I left Nvidia settings at 144hz with 12-bit color to get the best picture quality possible. If you overclock it to 160hz you can still run it at 10-bit. This monitor truly shines in SDR. You can max the brightness out if you want and watch some content with loud colors that are vibrant and full. I have to say HDR still lacks the proper implementation and Windows doesn’t do a great job either. It gets too bright, and the colors appear more washed out. Some games implement it well, but it’s hit and miss. In SDR it is the King LG gaming monitor, and you can adjust the brightness to scream vibrant colors. But…………………I must be honest. I returned my first two monitors due to stuck pixels. QC is questionable at best, but this could also be early adopter woes. Mileage will vary. The third one I received is immaculate and I’m pleased with my purchase as I play God of War and Horizon Zero dawn. They really shine on this monitor paired with an RTX 3090 and look amazing on PS5 as well. I plugged up my Series X and enjoyed the experience as well. I do feel this is best suited for PC gaming since the majority of console games rarely go above 60 fps. I would recommend playing on a C1 or C2 instead if you are purely a console gamer. Also, if you don’t have at least a 3080 this monitor is a hard pass because native 4k needs a powerful gpu. If you are looking for a 4k LG gaming monitor that implements a solution for IPS glow and you have a powerful gaming PC. Grab this! I hope you get a perfect one on your first try!

Coming from the LG 27gp950.
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was between the 42" LG C2 TV and this for desk use. And after setting up the 32" I know the 42" C2 would've been too big for a 24" deep desk. The oled picture of the C2 is better for deeper blacks but after putting over 1300 hours of gaming on the LG 27gp950 (not oled), whatever they call it special ATW polarizer they put on this 32gq950 is a good upgrade towards better blacks. SDR looks better than the HDR on this. With how bright it gets, the highlights pop fine anyway. Purchased for $829 and would buy again in a heartbeat. I play single player rpgs, fps, and horror games on PS5 and Series X.
