• It is unlocked GSM. So if unlocked GSM works in your area, it should work fine. Most of the world is GSM (analog signal)

• I have yet to travel with this LG V20 phone, so I cannot answer from experience. However, in reading about unlocked phones, generally speaking, you should be able to use your phone outside of the US, as long as your SIM card is compatible with the signal type in the country you are visiting.
