- Answer US 996 model has CDMA compatibility and this h910 version does not. The all major cellular compatibility on the product page isnt true, as this one does not work with verizon or sprint according to frequencycheck.com

- Answer This may be possible, as all the rest of the world uses GSM frequencies. google India Gsm frequencies used (voice and LTE) and look to match those used with this phone. It has many bands of LTE and voice frequencies, so my guess is it will. Phonearena.com has all the specs to show you all this phone has in it. Just a little research will tell you the rest.
