The Subwoofer for the LG XBOOM Multimedia Audio System, Model # LK72 is enclosed in the same cabinet as the main unit (i.e. receiver) so shares the same power. The Auxiliary port on the unit is a standard RCA barrel port (Red/White) or 1/8" ports (3.175mm). The System has a Frequency Response of 40 to 20, 000 Hz. On average, humans have the ability to hear sounds within the range of 20 to 20,000 Hz. Subwoofers are loudspeakers built to reproduce the lowest audible frequencies. Capabilities vary between subwoofers, but generally, they are able to produce frequencies from 20 to 200 Hz. Regrettably, the specifications for the unit do not list the frequency respone for the Subwoofer, but the low end of the system's frequency response of 40 Hz will be as low as the Subwoofer goes. It will not have a frequency response as high as 20 kHz...^IFV
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have no frequency response data, and frequency response data is not with the “Simple Manual “. There is a 110VAC power cord for the woofer, and the speakers connect to the woofer vis RCA cables for the Left and Right speakers. I use the Multimedia Speaker System with my bedroom TV for better sounds using a male/male cable to the headphone jacks on the woofer and TV. It’s great for my specific need. If you want a bigger booming woofer sound, I suggest you get a larger system. AUX jacks are RCA on back of woofer. Hope this helps.
