- Answer Yes, you can turn off speaker lights. Speakers can be connected by both Bluetooth and RCA connector wires. When using Bluetooth be sure to turn your streaming phone, tablet volume is turned all the way up because the speaker might drop the Bluetooth signal... the music may cut out if the source volume is too low. Great sound!

QuestionHi.. Can I use this with my LG sj8000 60inch TV since it has optical input. Secondly can my TV remote can control its volume or I have to use xboom remote for volume. If yes.. then does it comes on and off automatically when turning TV on and off.

QuestionI purchased this speaker open box and it only came with a speaker. It is stuck in echo mode. I am just finding out there should be a remote with it and it I want to turn off this aggravating echo, can I do it without the remote and if so, how can I do it?

- Answer Thank you for your interest in the LG LG XBOOM Speaker System with Karaoke Creator (RK7) model. To turn off the echo mode on the LG RK7 speaker, you need to use the remote control. If you don't have one, you can purchase a compatible replacement remote control such as AKB74955321. With the remote control, you can easily navigate the speaker's settings and turn off the echo mode. - Answer The manual does not state that Bluetooth connectivity cannot be used in the MIC function. It says the MIC function does not operate on OPTICAL or LG OPT function. ^Daphane
