QuestionWhat is the difference between model #'s CM4550 & CM4590. Is one a newer model or discontinued? Is one better than the other? I don't see any differences when comparing the two.

Questionits not letting me connect the speakers to my phone. ive had it for about two months & ive reset my phone and it still doesnt let me connect. any suggestions? the cd’s word but its just the bluetooth that doesnt seem to work all of the sudden idk why.

- Answer I have found that it doesn't connect to your cellphone automatically. I power the system on switch the function over to Bluetooth and then go into my Bluetooth settings in my cellphone and connect to the LG CM------ system. Just make sure that you're within the specified distance away from the system itself. But one thing I always buy the Geek Squad Service just for situations like this. I hope this helps you out.

- Answer there is no tape deck, however if your cassette player has blutooth or a headphone jack you should be able to plug in to auxiliary port on. sterero , it also has usb ports

- Answer A distance is not specified. It is recommended that when using Bluetooth technology, you have to make a connection between the unit and the Bluetooth device as close as possible and keep the distance. ^Daphane

The LG XBOOM 700W 2.1ch Mini Shelf System with Subwoofer and Bluetooth® can be paired with a Bluetooth enabled TV for a wireless Bluetooth connection. You will need to check with your TV's manufacturer if the TV can be paired with Bluetooth Mini Shelf Systems from other manufacturers or for only those that they have tested for compatibility with their TVs.The CM4590 also as an AUX in (L/R) port that you would need to purchase a Digital/Analog Converter to connect to an Optical Digital Audio Out on your TV if is has one...^IFV

If that does not resove the issue then the Subwoofer will need to be inspected and may need to be repaired or the output amplifier on the unit may need to be inspected and repaired...^IFV
