• yes I have a iphone 5c and it locks in place once in slide the lock from green to red

• The phone needs to be in a LifeProof case to fit in the carrier that is on the armband.

• Yes. That was a big reason that I bought this case. The case stays on your phone 24/7 and just slips right into the armband. The armband also can lock when you're wearing it so that your phone can't fall out.
