Taking pictures is not an issue with the LifeProof case on the iPhone. Keep the area clean around the lens and wipe away any water drops that might be around before taking a picture. I take my case off once a month to clean it and make sure the seal is good.

Rainy day sports events also. Quality is good. Better to capture the moment than not because you are worried about the phone.
