If the ports are closed and the case is not Damaged. I say yes. I have taken mine in the water and once dropped my phone in a tank of Citric acid at a depth of eight feet. Recovered phone four hours later with no damage.

They actually have a video on YouTube that tells you how (and encourages you) to test the case for waterproof ability prior to encasing the phone. If it doesn't pass, you can return it.
