• A:Answer E1 error code could mean several things. You should read the manuals troubleshooting guide and clean the air vent from the front and back of the unit. You could of dust and debris build up obstructing air flow.

• A:Answer It does have a fan, and it blows heat roughly 8-10ft in a well insulated room, it heats my roughly 600 SQ ft area pretty good.
