“I'm 74 years old & a novice at this so please excuse me if my questions are silly. I have windows 10 on a laptop, will this work to connect to the internet & do I just plug it into the side of the laptop without having to do anything else? Thank you.”

Hi there. The Linksys AE6000 Wireless adapter has only been tested to work with Windows XP up to Windows 8. We suggest that you check out the Linksys WUSB6300 instead. This wireless adapter supports computers running on Windows 10. It also features a setup wizard for quick installation. Lastly, please note that our wireless USB adapters still need to be connected to an Internet source (a router) for it work.
