Hi, Srwbusch. Since CAT 5 only supports up to 100Mbps, the E5350 router should work fine in your network as its Ethernet ports only support up to 100Mbps too. However, if you’ll upgrade your subscription speed in the future, you might need to upgrade the router too in order to cope up. If we are to be asked, it’s better to invest in a router that supports a gigabit connection as it’s future proof, especially in this time where technology upgrades from time to time.
