“Is this wifi range extender compatible with Xfinity's model Arris TG1682T? Also, Linksys also has the LINKSYS RE6500 AC1200 DUAL-BAND WIRELESS RANGE EXTENDER, which is not a plug-in extender that is supposed to work. But I would rather have the plug-in.”

it is compatible with any wifi signal being generated.. so yes as long as any of those devices are providing a wifi signal
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi, csm1770. There are no reported compatibility issues with the Arris TG1682T and Linksys AC1200 Amplify Wi-Fi Range Extender, RE6700, hence the range extender should be able to extend the wireless signal from the Arris gateway.
