• Your best is to go from your Modem to the WRT1900AC (wifi router) to a switch , this is more stable and yes it can forward. I have six cams connected to the switch.

• Once logged into the unit click on the security tab, then Apps and Gaming, and there are sections for single port forwarding and port range forwarding. Very similar to what you did on the WRT54.
