- Answer Hi, JLAX. The RE6300 extender doesn’t have that feature, however, if your phone supports it then it’s possible.

QuestionDoes everyone in the house have to use the extender signal? I share an apartment but they’re not tech savvy. It’s for me alone, so can they keep using the original signal without interference? Or will the extender override the original signal.

- Answer Not everyone needs to use it. We bought it for our son because he needed a stronger signal in his room for school work on his laptop. It hasn't had any affect on my laptop or my husbands.

QuestionPreviously moved into a new home. After having Spectrum come out and connect the wifi and internet we're having a problem with the front half of the house (little over 2,000 sq.ft) losing wifi and internet connection.Will this work with a Spectrum router?

- Answer Hello. The Linksys RE6300 supports 10/100/1000 Fast Ethernet port, which means, if the Linksys RE6300 is connected to your router over Ethernet (wired), then its possible data rate over wireless is up to 300 Mbps (2.4 GHz), and 433 Mbps (5 GHz).

QuestionI live in rural AL, 2000' above sea lvl, hilly area. If I go outside, I get excellent signal, however, sporratic inside, unless am backed up to a West facing window. Would this unit improve my inside signal in any way?

- Answer I don't know if it would improve your signal from the outside. My extender improves the signal I get from my router inside the home. My signal in parts of the home farthest from my router has improved.

- Answer Hi. Yes, it does have a separate Wi-Fi name for the extended signal. You can just manually connect your devices to the extended Wi-Fi signal.
