Q: QuestionCan I adjust the wifi from 5 or 2.4 in settings? I have lights that need a 2.4 connection while other things need the 5 connection. My current Linksys does not allow this. In settings it says mixed and no option to split.

• A:Answer There are so many variables when extending the Wi-Fi. Building materials, glass, plumbing, exterior cladding all affect the transmission of Wi-Fi. The only real test would be to try it. The beauty of this type system is that you can move the "satellite" modules around until you find placement that solves your problem. If it doesn't work for you, you can return it(following the return policy).

Q: QuestionDo the nodes have the usual Linksys browser interface? (Connect to computer ethernet port.) Can I manually connect the nodes rather than push button / app?

• A:Answer I haven’t been able to find any way to manually setup the nodes. You have to use their garbage app. However, I had an older model and you have to set it up wirelessly first before you can hardwire the child nodes to it.
