“Hi, My wifi router dends 5ghz only. Will this repeater/extender be able to convert that signal to 2.4ghz? Also, is this a plug&play item so I don’t have to configure with a laptop, as I only have an iPad and iPhone.”

• It does not appear to convert from 5ghz to 2.4ghz. It is technically a repeater so it only pushes the same signal futher. Yes it is “plug&play” i set it up only using my IPhone.

• The RE7000 does not convert frequency bands, Las. It only extends your router's 2.4GHz and 5GHz frequency bands simultaneously. Also, any mobile device or wireless computer can be used in setting up the extender.
