“Can I unplug or use a smart plug to power it off when I’m not wanting to use it, or would this require it to be setup again or some other hassle? I want to put it near a guest room that gets no coverage normally, but don’t want it on year round. Thanks.”

I unplug mine and move it between two spots and have not had to reset it up each time. Also when the power went out - it came back on by itself when power was restored. Great product!
