• Yes, ADI. Just make sure the extender is properly configured (Range Extender mode) and positioned in your area.

• Yes. (Ithink) I used mine similarly by adding a 2nd Arlo base station for my cameras. I do believe the ethernet port works both ways. If your are setting up an access point, then its in input, If you are extending the range it an output. Hope that makes sense.
