“I am currently running a Linksys WT 3200 ACM. I have a cat 6 cable running from the 3200 ACM to the far end of my home. Can the unit be connected to the non-used Cat6 for additional power/signal strength or should I use the AC 1200. Thank You.”

• Yes you can plug it in and then it becomes a wireless access point not an extender

• I believe it will work. It has a port to plug in additional cat cables to accommodate the necessary extender.

• Hi, Ot51. The RE7000 extender should work with either the WRT3200ACM or WRT1200AC router. Moreover, it needs to be connected wirelessly to the router (and not hardwired) in order for it to broadcast the WiFi network.
