• Hi, I don't think it will work like that. From setting it up I had to set up both 2.4ghz and 5ghz separately.

• Hello, King. It should work just fine since the Linksys RE7000 supports the following Network Standards: 802.11b, 802.11g, 802.11n, 802.11a, and 802.11ac. It also supports the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies simultaneously.
