“I live in an apartment complex that has free wi fi. But my apartment is too far away from their router and my devices. If I get this extender can I simply plug in into the wall outlet and will it then find and connect automatically to the router.? Thanks.”

THis is prob the simplest extender to ever set up.. Just follow the simple instructions and youll be up and running in less than 10 min... As far as picking up a signal that I cant tell you if you get zero bars where you are then it may not work it has to be able to see the wireless signal in order to amplify it.. That being said my notebook had only one bar and at time zero bars yet it picked up a signal and boosted it to full bars very impressive...
