LAN or WAN? (and the address is missing an octet--should be another field with a period separating, like "1.1.16.x") WAN (Wide Area Network - the Internet) is automatically assigned by whatever router you connect it's "Internet" port to. Haven't tried setting it's LAN (Local Area Network - your home) subnet to a configuration with values that low, so I can't answer that aspect.
