Also, confirm if it is indeed an Ethernet port or a coaxial port. If it is Ethernet you can use this WiFi router. If the port is coaxial then probably the service is from Xfinity/Comcast type of Internet Service Providers. Then, you need a cable modem which has a coaxial connection and combine it with a WI-FI router such as the one you are looking. For the cable modem search for those compatible with DOCSIS 3.0 or 3.1. Cable modems that are 3.1 are more expensive because allow higher download speeds. You can buy both items individually which could start around$80 for both items. Or you could buy single items that have both functionalities (modem+WiFi). These are usually over $100. Hope this help.
