After running the humidifier for six days I decided to clean it manually. Although it didn’t put out the white dust most humidifiers do, it was full of scale and slime inside the stainless canister. I cleaned it with white vinegar by soaking a paper towel and leaving it inside for about thirty minutes. The scale did come out. After using it another 4 days I’m now trying the clean cycle. I love having no white dust, but I don’t like that I have to reset it so often because it only runs 12 hours.
