The basic plan that they advertise for 14.99 is for 200 minutes, doesn't include voicemail. The service rep you call to activate the phone was not real customer service friendly. Tried selling lots of other add ons. We went with the 600 minutes for 19.99 and then added voice mail and it is $30+/month. The best part is there is no contract. The phone came with a cradle charger and it works quite well in an assisted living facility.

The power adapter for charging the phone is included at no extra cost. My Jitterbug Flip even came with a free phone case and car adapter. The monthly cost depends on what services you request and how much you plan to use them -- talk (phone), text and data (connect to internet). You can get a monthly plan starting for under $20/month, depending on your usage.
