“This will be a new phone number. Can anyone tell me if a number is already assigned when you buy the Phone? Obviously I want the same area code. Great Call Rep didn't know!”

You can use the number that Great call assigns when you setup your new phone or you can have Great Call transfer your phone number from your old phone over to your new phone and that way you get to keep your old phone number.

GreatCall may be able to port in a phone number from another carrier. Port-in requests may occur immediately or may take 1 to 3 business days (5 to 7 business days if porting a landline). Once the phone is activated please call Customer Service to transfer the number.
