  • QuestionCan you activate a new jitterbug flip 2, be assigned a new #, and THEN change the # by transferring your old number from your other cell phone that you are replacing? I just don't want to be without at working phone while the old # is being transferred.

    • Answer Hello, great question. Yes, you can transfer, port in your number from your previous carrier. When you activate your Flip2, there will a temporary number assigned, and you can use it while waiting for the port in to complete, which is usually one to three days if the information you provide is correct. You will need your account information for your previous carrier, and we suggest you contact them to see if a PIN transfer number is required.

    • Answer You might have to be creative in a search for a suitable cover with lanyard. The Flip 2 phone user guide did not list "accessories", so try looking for (1) a large-pouched name badge holder with lanyard, as sold at office supply stores or business copy centers; or (2) a novelty small cloth or leather pouch with neck strap commonly found on Amazon, E-Bay or Etsy; or (3) a travel passport or document pouch with neck strap as sold in catalogs/luggage shops; or, maybe easiest, (4) a very small digital camera padded pouch with neck strap widely sold in electronics/camera shops. Any excess interior space in your selected pouch can be filled with hand-cut craft foam sheet or styrofoam. Go "custom made" & have fun.

    • Answer The only way I could do it was to put a mini SD card in the other flip phone, copy it to a computer, change its format to csv, and then semi-manually upload it to the lively website. I was unable to copy it directly from the SD card.
