- Answer There are a number of plans. Your best bet is to call Great Call directly. That's what we did and it was a great deal more helpful than reading about them on line. The prices are not bad and the coverage will depend on whether or not you want data, the call 5*, etc.

- Answer We had to set it up with Great Call directly. Don't try to do it on-line. Call them. It took no time at all for them to do it and they will explain the plans to you clearly at that time.

Also, a copy of their User Manual is online at greatcall.com -- you can download it, or read it online, and it answers all your questions.

- Answer You pay by the month. Either send the payment each month, or do what I do -- I have the payment automatically charged to my charge account each month. After the six months, just call Great Call and they will change the billing over to your father. They don't care who sends the payment -- you, your father or anyone else -- all they care about is receiving payment, no matter who or where it comes from.

- Answer No. The Jitterbug Phone must be activated with Great Call’s service. Even though Great Call rides the Verizon network, I was not able to add the phone to my Verizon plan.
