QuestionWho provides service for this phone? Would I have to sign a contract and how much would it cost - least expensive option? My mother wants a phone with a camera. She will not use any of the other features except to call people. She is 95.

- Answer the service provider is "GREAT CALL". the network provider is VERIZON. You do not have to sign a contract. The features vary with the packages offered and are at different price points. You can select the level of service with the features you want at the price you like; service is paid on a monthly basis. There are many different plans, some of which offer emergency notification services (911) for the elderly. The phone has a good camera.

- Answer Hi PRL, the Jitterbug Smart2 may be able to sync, via Bluetooth with your vehicle, however, the directions will not show on the car screen, only on the screen of the phone. For information regarding Navigation on your vehicle screen, you would need to check with your Dealer.

- Answer This is an android, not an iPhone, so it doesn't support Facetime. To videochat, you'll have to use Google Hangouts, the video feature via Facebook Messenger, or download another app.

- Answer You can, but it's tricky. If you stop for just half a second, it shuts you down. You can text an "Okay," or other very brief message, but you can't actually send much information. It's a strange glitch. Or it may be just my phone. But the function is available.

- Answer No, you either have to go on line at mygreatcall.com to register the phone and set up an account, or you can call great call customer service to do it. If you do it by phone there will be a $10 fee. However, customer service is very friendly and knowledgeable. I registered on line, but found it better to call in order to make changes.
