• No it’s a stand alone product that is not connected to your home doorbell. You will not need a home doorbell since this alerts you when someone approaches, it also has its own sound that plays on your phone.

• It does not connect to a home doorbell chime directly. You may be able to use a smart home solution to create an event that'll ring the chime using another device, but that will be a custom integration and not a native capability of this lock.
