• No. But the magnet does not hold well enough at all if you have a cover on your phone. I wouldn't recommend.

• I have not experienced any issues with the compass yet. Do a fair amount of off-roading so I'm sensitive to compass issues.

• I wondered about that when I bought it but everything about phone is working fine. I love the item. Very strong magnet. comes with 2. I have a slim case and i Just put it on the case itself. Works great. Will work on either horizontal or vertical air vents. I would defitely recommend this.

• Yes. Using this product, believe it or not does tend to throw the internal accelerometer off therefore negatively impacting the accuracy of some of the guidance functions.
