Hello Patti, The Design Collection mouse will work with Chromebook operating systems. Each laptop will offer different connection options. The Lenovo Duet has 1 USB C and no standard USB ports. You could purchase a USB hub port to attached to the Laptop to give you standard USB ports. That would be the only way to make this particular mouse work with your Lenovo Duet. The Lenovo Duet does feature Bluetooth connection as well. You could purchase a different mouse such as Logitech's M535 Bluetooth mouse that would allow you to connect to your Duet without needing a USB receiver.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There is a tiny chip inside the mouse by the battery. It plugs into the side of the Chromebook. That wirelessly connects it to the mouse. The battery can be replaced when it dies.
