“I will be using this through the xbox so i won't get the features of the Blue Mic software, but will it still sound like a Blue Mic, just without the features of changing noise-gate, compression.. or should i get the regular G PRO without the BlueMic?”

It will not sound the same as if using on a pc with the gpro software. The whole idea is there is a usb dongle with a DAC onboard that acts as a sound card and has various audio codecs to work with pc software to adjust audio. On consoles its straight up audio with no additional processing of audio. Hth

Please try again later.I don't think you will get the quality of it without it going through usb… my friends can only tell higher quality when it is plugged in usb and not controller... but it still has a high quality for mic with out it... I use them regularly on the xbox and pc....
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It is not an actual Blue Mic, but the blue mic software that makes it "BlueMic". So you'd be better off getting the gpro without blue mic.
