• You can change a lot of the effects. You can choose to have no light effect, have it light up on key press, keep it on always (and can change the lighting intensity). I attached a picture of the software you have to download to take advantage of these features. Lots of adjustment though.

• Yes, you can reduce the light setting in 3 different brightness levels. 4th position is off. Light is not solid on keys, it rolls from one side to the other. Asides from this, I enjoy the keyboard.

• Yes. There is a dedicated button at the top of the keyboard to adjust between 5 brightness levels, one of them is all the way off.
