• A:Answer It has a small USB receiver that you plug into your computer, the mouse connects to that wirelessly. It is not Bluetooth but some proprietary Logitech thing. It also comes with a USB cable and a special adapter. If you don't have a USB port close to your mouse, you can place the wire somewhere nearby. I just plugged the receiver into my monitor and it works fine.

• A:Answer not sure about that. if i lose the "dongle", which allows the wireless to work, i go buy another mouse. If you game a lot, the mouse will wear out, so hopefully by the time you lost yours, your mouse is near time to replace. The place to ask about a dongle replacement would be Logitech.
