The model 665 is not rechargeable. The model 700 (no longer available) is. I am still on the original batteries on my 665 and battery life seems decent. To replace, just slide off the cover on the bottom. If you are referring to a model 700 (and above) you can use AA alkalines or buy new rechargeable AA's. When the batteries are low the display will show "low battery).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The Harmony 665 remote works off of a 2 AA batteries, so you can replace them with any set of AA batteries. I would highly recommend picking up a higher-quality set of AA batteries for a longer life on your Harmony 665.
