From all of the research I've done, I'd guess that would be the case BUT, and this is a big BUT, you may NOT want to transfer settings, i.e. may want to start fresh with all of the new technology this remote has. Gather together all of the brands and model numbers before you start. For example, my old Harmony One had no way to bring up the smart TV settings (Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime) of my new TV but I started fresh and now, with this new remote, no problem.
