A:Answer So it is a very nice remote, but you have to use a laptop or computer to program it, which isn’t difficult. But some may not care for that. This is strictly an IR remote no Bluetooth capabilities and if your box has IR capabilities then I would say most likely yes it would work. I maybe over informing and I apologize if I am, but I was disappointed to find out that the remote doesn’t really work seamlessly with Fire TV because it doesn’t have Bluetooth capabilities, if you have other components with Bluetooth remotes that is something to consider . If that is the case, something with a hub is your best bet. I just couldn’t afford that route. So thats just an FYI. Hope this was helpful and good luck.
