A:AnswerIf they are the same model, then I doubt it. The software distinguishes by manufacturer and model and since they are next to each other i don't see how the remote would know the difference. Depending on how Samsung sets up their remotes, it might not work even if they are different models. Also, Logitech is discontinuing it's whole Harmony system because of changes in TV and streaming landscape. Lastly, I like the device but the off button is quite small and tends to wear out in a year or so with heavy use and then you have to replace the device which might not be possible since they have been discontinued.

A:AnswerI don't know the answer to your question. I bought it for an expensive Panasonic DVD several years ago from BB. I thought the remote went bad, so I bought the universal remote. I tried many times to operate the player. I couldn't get it to operate the DVD. Then I thought, maybe the DVD is the problem. I've kept the universal remote. It may be useful at a later date for something else. I intend to buy the top of the line Panasonic DVD player later. I'm curious if the remote with the new one will operate my older Panasonic.
I have 2 4k Sony's I'm using now. I prefer the Panasonic. They'll do 'till I have a grand laying for another Panasonic.
