• This remote uses two Rechargeable NiMH AA 1.2v batteries rated at 2050 mAh. Any manufacturer with close to that mAh rating should work.

• You can use any AA batteries in the Harmony 700. If you want to be able to charge them with the supplied charging cable I would look for high-quality AA rechargeables with a capacity of about 2100 mAh.

• Aw, isn't he cute. They are the same size as "AA" batteries but are called nickel cadmium rechargeable. Regular double AA will not work. Hope this helped
