According to Logitech's website, it looks like you should be able to use your original remote to program the Harmony to control a device that is not in their database. Here are the instructions: https://support.myharmony.com/en-us/adding-a-device-thats-not-found-in-the-harmony-database And... to check if your air conditioner and/or ir fans are in the data base, you'll need to know the manufacturer and model number and then you can check them here: https://support.myharmony.com/en-us/compatibility I hope that helps, -MeeInOC-
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hello, the Harmony Elite does have the ability to control certain devices such as AC units via IR. You can check compatibility with your devices on our website with the manufacturer and model no. here: https://support.myharmony.com/en-us/compatibility
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, it cannot repeat another brands remote signals. I tried with a couple of different brands to no avail. As far as controlling an a/c unit (that can be connected to the web) it should work. When it comes to stuff like that if they don’t have the codes for a device they usually give you the option to teach the harmony remote the commands from the remote that came with said device. There is a tremendous amount of flexibility they offer when it comes to their remotes and software.
