You'll be able to control the devices with your remote as long as the radio frequencies (RF) can reach the hub. However, your smart phone will be able to control the devices from anywhere in the world as long as the hub is correctly connected to your home WiFi and you have internet connection. * The device won't work if Logitech doesn't support the device but that would be highly unlikely since the support well over 200,000 devices.
