It does not operate the voice command feature on the Xfinity cable box, but it does operate everything else including the apps.

I use the Elite to switch between all my different activities, and after that it -does really well ...except with the xfinity remote, it's serviceable, but I still keep the cable remote handy, I've memorized it too well and it has the voice function which is super convenient. I would still recommend it though, two remotes is not bad...
