The Harmony Elite is the best in my opinion. The set up on the laptop is possible, but isn't great. I find it easier to use my phone or iPad for the majority of the setup.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Go with the Harmony Elite. It will control all your equipment with ease. You can program it from a CPU, but I am telling you (use your i-Phone) its much much easier.
I would recommend:
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Depends on your needs. Get the Harmony One if you want to use the remote by hand only for your entertainment center. The One Elite gives you a hub and extra sensors/sending units that is good if you have extra things like light switches and other stuff in various positions or if you want to be able to control things using voice with the amazon dot.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I came over from an old Harmony Model 680, that had a minimal LCD screen (non-touch screen - just a display). It still works (I use it from my kitchen to jump past TV commercials !!). It was programmed with the older, web-based Harmony application, that isn't compatible with the current Harmony models. Even so, I was able to easily migrate to the Harmony Elite model and the new software without issue. It seems to have all the other features that you mentioned, as well. I really like the Elite model, and though it is pricey, I highly recommend it.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The Harmony Ultitimate home or the elite home will control 8 devices.but be careful if you have the same device in separate rooms for example the same cable box it will not be able to control both of them and all the components have to be within range of the Hub or the booster sensors.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I replaced my Harmony One with the Elite. It is a Fantastic remote. I have activities like, watch TV that opens my TV, Receiver and Channel master DVR. Next I have Watch Apple TV. It opens my TV and sets it to HDMI 4, Receiver and Apple TV, watch, Blu Ray, watch VCR. I am researching the lighting now for the den.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I replaced my One with a Harmony Elite. Definitely worth the upgrade!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This is the remote for you!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. All that you want in your next remote, the Harmony Elite will deliver, but in my opinion, keep your Harmony One. I have the new Elite and although it is a good remote, having all of the latest bells and whistles, it comes nowhere close to the battery life of the Harmony One. Yes, battery life is important to me. The battery life is about 5 days versus weeks with my old (but still in use) Harmony One. If battery life is not a concern, then by all means go with any of the newer Harmony remotes.
